The Bella Paws Initiative

Helping Pets and Their People

The Bella Paws Initiative was created to support dogs living alongside unhoused and housing-insecure owners.

For many people experiencing homelessness, a dog is more than a pet. They may be a source of protection, emotional support, unconditional love, and companionship during an incredibly difficult season.

Unfortunately, limited access to food, clean water, veterinary care, and basic pet supplies can make caring for these loyal companions especially challenging. Bella Paws works to help bridge that gap by collecting and distributing essential supplies to pets and their owners within our community.

Supplies We Hope to Provide

Bella Paws focuses on collecting and distributing items such as:

  • Dog food and treats

  • Bottled water and portable bowls

  • Collars, harnesses, and leashes

  • Travel crates and pet carriers

  • Blankets and weather-appropriate supplies

  • Waste bags

  • Flea and tick treatments

  • Basic grooming and hygiene products

  • Pet first-aid supplies

Whenever possible, we also hope to collaborate with local shelters, rescue organizations, outreach programs, veterinarians, businesses, and community volunteers.
