Businesses, schools, community groups and organizations can partner with the Bella Paws Initiative to collect essential pet supplies for an upcoming community distribution event.

Your supply drive will help provide food, water, safety equipment and comfort items to dogs living alongside unhoused pet owners. Whether you collect a few bags of food or fill an entire donation bin, every contribution makes a meaningful difference.

  • New or freshly cleaned blankets and towels
  • Pet-safe wipes
  • Travel crates and carriers
  • Dog beds and sleeping mats
  • Pet first-aid supplies
  • Unopened, unexpired flea and tick treatments
  • Dog sweaters, jackets and cooling accessories

Gift cards from PetSmart, Petco, Chewy, Walmart, Target, Amazon and grocery stores are also welcome. Financial contributions allow Bella Paws to purchase urgently needed supplies in the correct sizes and quantities.

How the Supply Drive Works

1. Register Your Group

Complete the Bella Paws Supply Drive Interest Form with your organization’s contact information, preferred collection dates and estimated number of participants.

2. Select Your Collection Period

Choose a collection period that works for your group. A two-to-four-week drive is recommended to give participants enough time to contribute.

3. Promote the Drive

Invite employees, students, members, customers and community supporters to participate. Promote the drive through email, social media, newsletters, flyers and announcements.

4. Collect the Donations

Designate a visible, secure area for your Bella Paws donation bin or collection station. Check donations regularly and keep all food and supplies clean and dry.

5. Coordinate the Handoff

At the end of the collection period, your group will coordinate a scheduled delivery or pickup with Bella Paws. Donated supplies will be organized for a future community distribution event.

Availability of physical materials, donation pickup and on-site participation may depend on the organization’s location and the size of the collection drive.

Donation Guidelines

All donated items should be clean, safe and usable.

Food, treats, medications and topical treatments must be unopened, unexpired and in their original packaging. Blankets, towels, beds, bowls, collars, leashes, harnesses and crates may be new or gently used but must be freshly cleaned and free from significant damage.

Bella Paws cannot accept:

  • Opened or expired food
  • Opened or expired medication
  • Prescription medication
  • Broken crates or carriers
  • Heavily damaged equipment
  • Retractable leashes
  • Used grooming liquids
  • Dirty or wet fabric items
  • Items that may create a safety risk
